At EBM&D we encourage our clients to plan and manage their legal matters as they would all other aspects of their lives... before disaster strikes! This proactive approach will help eliminate surprises, but more importantly help keep you in control of your destiny. And it's a simple process that works well for both your personal and business needs.
It's a common mistake for people to wait until the last minute to deal with critically important legal matters in their daily lives, both personal and professional. One recurring fear is that consulting counsel will be too costly so they put off seeking sound advice and consequently defer important matters to their detriment.
Another all too common objection is "I don't have the time." Yes, this plan will take a little time to create but we take a simple approach that generally leads to a quick and easy plan that will address the important matters in your life. If you don't take the time to take control, who will ultimately have control?
We have decades of experience in advising people on how to avoid problems.
The EBM&D Legal Planner draws on years of practical experience and common sense that will help put, and keep you in charge.
The EBM&D Legal Planner is customized to your unique needs at a flat rate fixed fee and begins with an evaluation of your current legal issues and an assessment your short and long terms needs. We then suggest varied approaches and refer to non-legal experts if and when necessary to help you "Get Your House in Order."1
The EBM&D Legal Planner Includes:
- Initial telephone consult and forwarding of Pre-Consult Questionnaire to
assist you in organizing the documents and other information you heed for an effective consult. - Two hour initial consult to review and discuss the legal issues presented by
your matter. - Creation of a Legal Plan and an assessment of necessary steps that need
to be taken. - Recommendations and course of action (if desired).
- Follow up session within one year to assess progress or changed circumstances to review recommendations and revisit course of action.
