I wanted to be a lawyer when I was in grade school when the T.V. show L.A. Law was popular.  I watched and thought, I can do that.  To this day I do not live in L.A., own a multi-million dollar home or drive a Mercedes, but I love the law just the same.

The case that most impacted my career as an attorney is a case Matt Donahue and I handled for a group of homeowners.  The homeowners wanted to prevent a gas station from expanding into an environmentally sensitive area and harming their children's drinking water.  We took the case all the way to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.  Even though we lost the case, it taught me the important role lawyers play in the quiet little neighborhoods all around us and how a small group of people can make an enormous impact.

My favorite practice areas are Environmental Law and Land Use.  Feeling like you can make a positive difference in the world matters.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Kristine.  We just celebrated the first birthday of our son, Benjamin on April 21, 2010.  I am a full time school teacher of 8th Grade Social Studies at the H. J. Robinson Middle School, a Member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and Lowell Teachers Union, Local 495.
